The Symposium organizing committee and scientific committee invite you to submit the abstracts for oral or poster presentations. Suggested topic areas are listed below.

  2. Genetics and breeding
  3. Scion/rootstock physiology and Interactions
  4. Grafting technologies and automation
  5. Engineering grafting systems
  6. Outreach methodologies and impacts
  7. Farming systems research and IPM
  8. Use of grafted plants in various cropping systems and climate conditions
  9. Innovative technologies to graft and transport
  10. Marketing and economics
  11. Quality changes or postharvest physiology in scion fruit from grafted systems
  12. All other topics relevant to vegetable grafting

General Information

  • All abstracts have to be submitted via ROSA - Responsive Online System managed by the International Society for Horticultural Sciences. The submission deadline is March 8, 2019. For more information about how to submit your abstract, see ROSA submission guidelines for authors.
  • Only abstracts written in English will be accepted for review.
  • Abstracts must be based on the original work that has not been published elsewhere.
  • Abstracts should provide objective or purpose of research, major results, and general materials and methods.
  • Abstracts should not exceed 300 words.
  • Submission is strictly limited to a maximum of one oral and one poster presentation per person.
  • All abstracts submitted will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee and the provisional acceptation as oral or poster presentation will be sent by March 31, 2019.
  • To be accepted as oral presentation, the presenter must be registered by the early-bird registration deadline (May 31, 2019) and the manuscript for Acta Horticulturae must be submitted by June 1, 2019.
