About Conference

The North Carolina Community College System (NCCCS), in partnership with University of North Carolina General Administration will host the 2014 Minority Male Mentoring Conference.

This student-focused event will provide students with the tools to better navigate college and improve their commitment and connectivity to the college experience. The overall focus of the conference is to engage public and private sectors to work together better in developing support systems on the state and community levels.

Conference presentations will focus on three primary areas: College environment, workforce development/employment, and healthcare/criminal justice.

Who Should Attend?

The conference is designed for students, educators, and others who are responsible for developing mentoring programs or other programs to enhance the advancement of minority males in our communities.
